As you may have read in the local press, the Councils in Cambridgeshire (including Peterborough) and the Local Enterprise Partnership are launching a public consultation on a proposed deal with Government. This deal currently under negotiation, would see powers, duties and money devolved from national to local level.

All seven councils have agreed to seek the views of local residents and businesses before proceeding further.

The consultation document is available online http://www.cambridgeshire.gov.uk/devolutionsurvey

The consultation runs from 8 July to 23rd August 2016.
