Correspondence

a) Letter from Mr Blenkinsopp – Allotment Rents – Clerk to respond an explain again why we had changed the date of renewal.

b) Letter from Cambridgeshire County Council – Countryside Access Issues – Clerk to obtain a map of the paths around the village for the Committee to inspect.

Street Furniture

Proposed Cllr Butcher seconded Cllr Rees that we purchase two more bins. All items have arrived and will be installed as and when our workman are able.

 

21.

Allotments

The subject of security around the allotment sites was discussed and it was decided that no security measure would be installed for the present time.

 

22.

Expenditure for 2008/2009

Proposed Cllr Butcher seconded Cllr Humphries that £700 be spent on plants for the visual areas of Yaxley this year to improved the flower beds and make them look more appealing,

Other items for expenditure:-

Replacement of other items of street furniture.

Xmas lights improvement

Bus Stop maintenance or replace

Planting in general

 

As there was no further business the meeting closed at 8.30pm
