Police Report

PCSO Jess Drew attending and giving feed back on arrests that had been made as a result of some positive policing and the installation of security cameras. Two youths have been arrested and various charges have been brought against them. They have admitted their crimes. Another person has handed himself into the Police following an advert in the Peterborough Evening Telegraph and the Police are due to speak to this person at the end of the week. The Parish Council thanked the Police for their continuing efforts. Jess Drew also answered questions with regard to the Police report circulated.

Report from representatives:

1. Ferndale –  Cllr Thorne reporting that there is still a problem with the foul sewage outlet but that all parties were investigating the whereabouts of this manhole. Other than this the build is currently 3 weeks behind due to the bad summer weather. However, progress is consistent.

2. Website –  visits for August are 2236 obviously down on last month. However, having discovered the various problems we had had with Cyberware then this month’s figure is more likely to be a true figure for visits to the website.

Community Information Surgery Notes

Cllr Rees attended last month’s meeting. She received complaints regarding the dykes at the Wykes which the Clerk would refer to the relevant owners and a complaint about the path outside the new house being built on Church Street. Cllr Watt would speak to the owner and ascertain the position with regard to the reinstallation of the footpath.
