Committees

Allotments & By-ways
Chairman - Roger Lucas
Committee members: Cllrs Butcher, Stafford, and Rees
This committee is responsible for village allotments, bus shelters, village seats, maintain, grass areas under council control, plant and maintain flower beds, maintain village signs, parking, village dykes, fencing, walls, overhanging trees and hedges.

Amenity Centre
Chairman - Mark Oliver
Committee members:
Cllrs Lucas, Metcalfe, Richardson and Stafford
This committee is responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the Centre, keep centre in good repair, fixing the hall charges, ensuring that money is available for refurbishment, modernisation and repair.

Cemetery -
Chairman - Cllr Stafford
Committee members: Cllrs Rees, Richardson, Stafford and Rickman
This committee ensures there are sufficient spaces for the deceased, acquiring land, approval of memorials, upkeep of the grounds and the maintenance of the Chapel of Rest plus St Peter's Church boundary walls. 

Finance and General Purposes

Committee Members: Cllrs Rickman, Butcher, Lucas, Oliver, Thorne and Stafford

This committees responsibilities fall into two parts.
Dealing with the finances of the council in respect of the precept for the coming year.
Gathering the spending requirments of the various committees for the next year and setting the precept levy for the Parish Rate. Monitoring wages bills. All decisions are then put before full council for approval.

The second responsibility is dealing with plans for building and alterations as they are presented by Huntingdon District Council. Once they are approved or rejected, they are returned to Huntingdon
DC for submission to the full District Council Planning Committee.

Playing Fields
Chairman -Cllr Butcher
Committee members: Cllrs Humphries, Metcalfe, Rees, Kidd 
This committe manages all the villages outdoor play and recreational areas (excluding the allotments). They also consider play equipment requirements at all designated locations and decide on additions and/or replacements as far as budgets will allow.
