Halls Maintenance
Flooring in Austin Hall – The Clerk is to write to East Midland Flooring for a final time and express our concern at that fact that we have not received the result of the survey into the flooring and that no one has called us back despite our phone calls. They will be given a set amount of time to respond thereafter we will take legal advice. Proposed Cllr Richardson seconded Cllr Metcalfe and carried.
Maintenance Requirements – following an inspection with the Committee the maintenance jobs will be carried out in the spring. The Clerk is also to get three quotes for replacement windows in the Austin Hall.
Signage – The Clerk is to obtain signs for the entrance to the Austin Hall and Owen Pooley hall informing users that they leave their property at their own risks. Proposed Cllr Kidd seconded Cllr Richardson and carried.
Security for Clerk’s Office – Due to recent events involving the Clerk being verbally abused in the office it was decided that the office is only to be open to the public if both Pat and the Clerk were present if not then the office would be closed. The Clerk is also to obtain three quotes for a small TV camera in the office so that when the any visitors can be filmed. Proposed Cllr Lucas Seconded Cllr Kidd and carried.
